Maiwand Kabob - Hanover
Maiwand Kabob is among our favorite places in the area. They are a go to for amazing Lamb, Chicken and Kafta kabobs. Mikes favorite is the Kafta and Chicken combo. The combos and entrees are served with fresh tandoori naan, rice, side salad and yogurt sauce. Diane usually goes with the veggie platter. The flavors are always amazing and naan is always perfectly made.
They offer many appetizers. The standout favorites of Mike are the mantu and the chickpea Curry. The mantu has a fabulous combination of the yogurt sauce with the deep flavors of the spiced beef and the chickpea curry has a deep flavor you will never forget. Diane is a big fan of the pumpkin served with sugar and a garlic yogurt sauce (being a vegetarian she always has them hold the ground beef sauce).
